We have been to Pidurutalagala which is the highest mountain in Sri Lanka! The viewing is breathtaking!
Even better as it is FREE to go up there!

It is highest mountain in Sri Lanka as sea level which is 2,500 METERS!
Anyway, How to get there? You can hire the car, or scooter. BUT make sure you bring your passport along because it is army base so it is security reason for it.
You can take photos or video of viewing but not on the army base such as person or building as it is not allowed!
It is worth it to go there as I feel so proud to be at top of highest mountain in Sri Lanka.
