Dondra Head Lighthouse in Matara City which is near the southern most point in Sri Lanka and it is the tallest lighthouse in Sri Lanka and also one of the tallest in South East Asia too!
We had to bribe the lighthouse officer for 500 rupees (under £3) per person to let us go up as it is not open to public!
It is worth to go there and get all the way to the top of the lighthouse just before sunset as it is breathtaking viewing!
